At Goodman, we are always looking for opportunities that fit our strategy to develop logistics real estate close to city centres and large consumer populations. We evaluate land positions according to the following criteria:

  • We always look at the bigger picture. We generally prefer sites of at least 2 hectares, but other factors such as permitted building height, easy access or a large number of households within a short driving range can be more important than the surface area of the site.
  • Brownfields that are currently unoccupied or other ready-to-build sites allow us to act quickly, but we are equally interested in land positions with outdated or more recent buildings that are fully or partially in use.
  • The land position must allow logistics activities: this could be land currently used as industrial estate or business park, but land for commercial or mixed use is also possible.
