On 25 April we embarked on our ‘Tour des Frites’, an initiative set up to thank all our customers in Belgium and the Netherlands for choosing Goodman. This time we took a slightly different approach: everyone who contributes on a daily basis to realise the ambitions of our customers was treated to a portion of French fries.
“The idea for the ‘Tour des Frites’ came to us when trying to come up with a fun concept for a customer event”, says Patrick Van den Broeck, marketing manager for Belgium and the Netherlands. “We wanted to thank our customers for choosing us. After all, they are our most valuable asset.”
“Our ultimate reward is to see our customers grow and excel in their business and their staff are obviously indispensable in this regard. Their performance decides whether or not these steep ambitions can be realised. The least we could do was to give something back to the people who work so hard on a daily basis.”
In two months’ time, the ‘Tour des Frites’ food truck visited all Goodman sites in Belgium and the Netherlands. We got to thank 2,910 lovely people in person with no less than 727.5 kg of French fries. Reactions were very positive, bellies were full and we saw nothing but happy faces. Enjoy this after movie.
