    Ruud joined Goodman in 2004 (then Eurinpro). Before Goodman, he gained extended management experience in different sectors.

    Ruud started his career at a public transportation company where he was responsible for planning, marketing and promotional activities. With packages transporter Van Gend & Loos (now part of DHL), he was operational manager and responsible for 160 employees and 120 trucks. He also initiated a new cross-dock centre in ‘s-Hertogenbosch.

    At Borstlap BV, a retailer in attachment materials, Ruud ran the entire logistic process (intern and transport) and was member of the management team. He optimised the internal logistic flow of the company by building a new warehouse which could store 30.000 pallets and had one of the first man-up forklifts.

    Ruud also worked as managing director Storage and Distribution at Vos Logistics, one of the the Netherland's largest logistic providers that manage 400.000 m² of storage area and 3.200 trucks. In this function, he expanded the existing distribution centre in Helmond with 17.000 m² and developed a new distribution centre of 15.000 m² for a new client of Vos Logistics in Goch.

    Ruud studied Transport Economics at the Traffic Academy in Tilburg and obtained his Master in Transport and Logistics at the Catholic University Brabant in Tilburg in 1999.
